About Me -
Cat, Catriona Cameron

I’m a British artist who discovered the joy of painting back in November 2012 while living in Switzerland.
What began as a relaxing, creative outlet and a way to gift original pieces to friends and family evolved into a passion project and business in 2014, offering both original artworks and derived products.
My style is abstract, vibrant, and tactile. While I’ve experimented with various mediums, I’m fundamentally an "acrylic baby."
My work is defined by three main elements: bold, bright colors, striking 3D textures, and a quirky, inspirational spirit which often shines through in the titles I choose.
My portfolio has grown to 493 paintings as of September 2026, spanning diverse themes including Abstract, Floral, Landscape, People, Animal, and Comical.
I also love exploring niche inspirational concepts such as microscopic views of alcohol and plant life, aircraft window paintings, and unique painted figurines or objects.
Under my trademarked brands, Catriona Cameron and Colourful Cat Creations
I offer original canvases alongside a broad range of art products—from wearable art like scarves and bags to paper reproductions, magnets, jigsaws, mugs, and greeting cards.

Customer Reviews

"I bought this picture as a wedding anniversary present for my wife a few years ago. I was struck by both the calmness and serenity depicting a middle aged couple showing both love and long term companionship. The picture itself is intimate and decorated by soft graphite pencil and an understated watercolour wash. For me this beautiful picture represents real love and commitment by an artist who has both lived experience and talent"

"Cat's work is Joy in an artistic format. Her work is original, breathtaking and quirky. It looks fabulous as the original paintings, but it also translates beautifully into objects that can be used or worn: mugs, bags, scarves and cards, to name a few Every time I use my bags and T-shirts, I smile. "

“I discovered Cat’s amazing work at a local art fair and immediately fell in love with a gorgeous cat figurine, which I bought for myself. Our grandson chose a lovely turtle, and Cat very kindly gifted each of our grandchildren a unique T-shirt of their own. Such beautiful, original creations and such a thoughtful gesture!”
